Welcome to Four Earth

We are committed to bringing sustainable products from the four corners of the world to you, for the betterment of our Earth and her inhabitants.

We provide a bridge to connect people with products from farms utilizing holistic design, supporting healthy ecosystems on our planet.

Heart of the Earth Cacao

Our first product

This specialty, ceremonial-grade cacao is our first product offered through the 80-20 System Pilot Project, supporting regenerative ecosystems.

We never set out to have the highest-quality cacao or connect with it in such a deep way. As synchronicities go, we found magic in this cacao, the land where it was grown and the rich history of the people cultivating it.

We began our journey in the heart of the world, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia. Here, cacao crops are produced and harvested by the local and indigenous peoples, the Wiwa and Kogui. They are, and have been, guardians of the heart of the world for centuries. Their priority is caring for the planet plus her inhabitants.

This cacao presents a bridge between the heart of the world and yours.

Discovering Heart of the Earth Cacao

History & Origin

Cacao as a Superfood

Cacao as a Superfood

Four tribes have been guarding the heart of the world, the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia, for generations. The Kogui and Wiwa tribes make up the majority of the cacao cooperative that provides this special Heart of the Earth Cacao. Their commitment is to the restoration of Mother Earth and the people who inhabit her.

The story of this cacao is one of interconnection and healing. The migration to cacao harvesting has helped transform the Sierra on multiple levels.

The war on drugs was at its height, the majority of crops were controlled by the military when foreign interests began to spray toxic chemicals on Colombian fields in an attempt to kill the coca plant.

Fearing that these deadly toxins would come to the Sierra, the “Cacao for Coca” initiative was introduced. Cacao farming provided a safe crop to harvest in the natural areas of the Sierra. As a result, cacao began to flourish, through natural means at the hands of the local and indigenous peoples.

Cacao as a Superfood

One size does not fit all, but if there were such a thing as superfoods, perhaps cacao would fit that bill.  A recent clinical study at the University of California, San Francisco suggests cocoa, a derivative of cacao, aids in boosting stem cell production.

Our cacao is 100% pure, grown in soils that are very low in cadmium. There are no other oils, sugars or chemicals added. It contains all of its natural butter, providing a smooth and creamy texture and sweeter finish.

Cacao is one of the highest wholefood sources of magnesium, aiding the cardiovascular system. It is one of the foods highest in phenolic antioxidants and flavonoids. Polyphenols have been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects on the body, specifically advantageous for the heart and stomach. The effects on heart health are well studied and widely agreed upon.

We truly believe that this cacao is the perfect natural superfood, safe for daily consumption.
